The Photoshoot: scene 5

This was our last scene of the day to photograph and even though it's a shame that all the ice had melted away by then, I wanted to wait unitl the sun was setting so Jackson could capture the lovely pinky, orangey colours in the sky at sunset that have a magical quality all of their own. This is the tree at the bottom of my orchead that I used to climb up and look out at the view all the time when I was younger. I feel she is doing the same, as if looking out over the winter wonderland that she has been exploring all day.

This close up shot captures the rough texture of the bark on the tree against the soft, fluffiness of the fur on the gloves and hat. I like how she isn't looking at the camera as if she is distracted by something else she is looking at in the distance.

Again, I like the composition of this photograph and feels as though she is starting to blend into the trees branches. The fur also suggests that she has become like an animal in their natural habitat.
